Malena Marcase began singing nearly as soon as she could talk.  Noticing her immediate love for music at only five years old, Malena’s mother enrolled her in piano lessons, voice lessons, dance classes, and every theatre camp within a 50-mile radius of her hometown – Kansas City, Missouri.

By the age of 10, Malena could be found singing at any restaurant or nursing home in town that would let her set up a stereo system in the corner. It wasn’t long before she started to land bigger gigs – singing the National Anthem each season for the Kansas City Royals beginning in 2005, and performing at nearly all professional theatres in the Kansas City Metro area.

In 2014, Malena left Missouri and found a second home in Nashville, Tennessee where she doubled majored in Commercial Music and Music Business at Belmont University. While in Music City, Malena studied under the tutelage of jazz and commercial music educator and singer Kate Paradise and began to dive into the world of songwriting and artistry.  Over the years, Malena has taken her musical influences from various genres to create a personal musical style that suggests a combination of country songwriting, electronic production, and contemporary pop vocals.

“My main goal as an artist has always been to connect with others by sharing honest and relatable music that makes you want to sing along,” she says. “I believe in being authentic, positive, and laughing as often as possible.”

Currently, Malena is living in Valencia Spain, where she earned a Master’s degree in Contemporary Performance and Production at Berklee College of Music in the summer of 2019.  Keep a lookout for future releases and check out Malena’s latest singles – streaming NOW on all music platforms.
